WHAT IS HYPNOTHERAPY?
It is rather like “guided daydreaming.” Have you ever travelled somewhere, suddenly arrived and wondered how you got to your destination. That is what hypnosis feels like. It is a relaxing, dreamy feeling. Some people are afraid they may not be in control but actually it helps you to gain more control over your life, career, relationships than you ever had before. Your unconscious mind is the large storehouse for your brain, holding all your memories and learned behaviours. Hypnotherapy bypasses the “busy, conscious” mind and by planting suggestions here it can help change occur in all aspects of your life.
About Kay Strang
I have a Hypnotherapy Practitioners Diploma (HPD) and an
Advanced Clinical Diploma in Hypnotherapy. I am also a qualified
practitioner in NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming).
I am also a Registered General Nurse
I use various techniques to gain a result
but the type of therapy is always discussed before commencement.
Many therapists provide testimonials on
their websites so why do I not provide any?
a) The National Council for Hypnotherapy
consider them to be unethical as they can be falsified and misleading.
b) The Advertising Standards Authority require testimonials to be
verified and this may mean the confidentiality is broken.
However, I am happy to address any
or concerns you may have.
